Adding Powerpoint Autoplay video (with pictures)

PowerPoint auto play videos during presentation helps you present more awesome, here’s the tutorial on how to add videos and automatically play on MS powerpoint 2010, 2012, 2016, 2019 etc.

How to add video files on your presentation

  1. On menu bar, click Insert then on Video, click arrow down for more options.
  2. Browse for videos you want to insert. Then click Insert.
    1. If you see popup saying: “PowerPoint cannot insert a video from selected file. Verify that the path and the file format are correct and also try installing the latest version of the Apple QuickTime player, restart PowerPoint and then try again.” then we need to install Apple QuickTime player.
    2. Download and install the latest Apple QuickTime player to be able to play the videos inside the PowerPoint presentation.
    3. After successful installation, you can insert again the Video file.
  3. After inserting the videos, click on Playback tab.
  4. On Start: Select Automatically Instead of On Click to play the video automatic.
